Delivery Options

At Branches of Bristol we aspire to offer our customers a delivery experience that is efficient and hassle free. We use our own in store delivery teams for all local deliveries and carefully selected furniture carriers, that are experienced in handling furniture, for nationwide deliveries.

We operate two man delivery teams and this service allows you to have your furniture taken to the room of your choice (this includes upstairs, flats etc) although it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that access to rooms is clear and safe and that measurements are checked to ensure suitable access. Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm. The day before your delivery, we can usually provide you with a 4 hour window of when your delivery will be.

Delivery is FREE for orders over £400 to the following local Post Codes : BA, BS, GL, NP, and SN. Local orders of £400 or less cost £29. Delivery costs to other areas by quote. Delivery costs are per delivery, not per item. 

If you require a delivery to any postcode not in our standard delivery areas please contact the shop with your requirements and we will endeavour to organise a delivery quote and timescale for you.

When you order your furniture, we will be in touch by email within 48 hours with details about how long your furniture will take to arrive into our warehouse. A large percentage of our best selling products is kept in stock at all times but some ranges are made to order. Once your order is complete in our warehouse, your paperwork is passed either to our in store delivery organisers or to the delivery carrier. If your furniture is not in stock, the majority of our furniture arrives at our warehouse within 2- 6 weeks of the order being placed. Once your furniture has arrived with us you will be contacted within 48 hours to arrange your delivery and it will be made within 7-14 days from then. All deliveries require a signature on receiving your order (this must be someone over 18 years old). If you are not present when we attempt to deliver, you will be liable for any redelivery charges.

As part of our commitment to the environment we deliver your goods in one complete delivery. If, however, you have an urgent requirement for part of your order that is in stock then we can look at splitting your order although there may be a charge for this.

Staff making deliveries are required within health and safety laws to wear their footwear at all times. For this reason we strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring. Our delivery people enter your premises at your risk. Whilst they will make every effort not to do so, we do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their delivery work.

In the unlikely event of there being a problem with your furniture, please ensure that you retain the original packaging as any returns must be made in the original packaging.

All your furniture will be packaged and some may require some home assembly. The fitting of handles may be required on certain items. Items with legs often come with transit feet attached to protect them duriung manufacture, packing, and transit. These and any associated screws or staples should be carefully removed to ensure no damage is done to carpets or floors. A chargeable assembly service is usually available, where required.
